In Sept 2010, Our beloved Freeland Mayor Tim Martin passed away due to Cancer.
In March 2010 during a Relay for Life Meeting, Tim asked us, how hard it would be to get a Bus Trip going to Mohegan Sun Casino put together.?. In less than a week, our town pulled together to make this great night happen. We raised $1000 for Martin's Mission Relay for Life that night. Hopefully we can raise more this year!! We want to continue this benefit yearly in honor of our beloved Mayor Tim.
